そんな感じで前回の記事に続きPart 2 です。
(現在Part 1は非公開にしています)
僕が IELTS の Speaking 対策として1か月練習した
IELTS トピックリストを全部
載せます。
これを1ヶ月ほどやりこみ Speaking 8.5 を取りました。
このリストですが、僕のノートをなるべくそのまま再現しました。
ノートをここに打ち出しただけなので、少し見づらいかもしれませんが誰かのスコアアップのヒントになれば、という気持ちで一生懸命書いたので参考になれば幸いです。
*ノートの雰囲気が出るように、メモ部分も少し載せています。ただ、メモ部分はだいぶ縮小版です。
*実際はノートの余白にかなり表現やアイデアのメモが書いてあります。
*個人的な内容が多かったため、表現は大部分削ってありますが、トピックは全部のせてますのでご安心を。
また、このリストですが、
全て自分が練習したもの
のみ載せてます。
練習したもののみ、というのは個人的にはけっこうポイントです。
というのも、おそらく、出そうなトピックを書き出す作業だけなら、誰でもできます。
それこそ中国本や、ネットや過去問のあらゆるトピックをただ並べれば、それで良いです。実は僕も最初それだけをやったことがあります。
ただ、言い方キツいかもですが、それは誰でもできます。
大事なのは、以下のような幅広い トピック、自分の言いたいこと・苦手な内容・出そうなこと・かっこいい表現などを全部書き出し、
そのトピックを見た瞬間に自分のネタが勝手に出てきてしまうまで
実際に何度も何度も全部練習することです。
そして、
こんだけやって納得のいくスコアや結果が得られなかったのなら、もう自分の根本的な実力不足だから悔いなし
というところまで練習することです。
練習のやり方ですが、基本的には、下に書いてあるすべてのトピックに、IELTS 風に、
Describe 〜 .
などを当てはめてネタと力が尽きるまで練習する感じです。
僕は長さは気にしません。
よって、30秒くらいの説明の練習もあれば、3分以上になるものもあります。
言いたいことは時間がかかってもちゃんと表現など調べて、よく練って、それを何度も練習すると大きな違いが出ると思います。
手前味噌ですが、これを書いた2016年現在は海外のあらゆるサイトを見ましたがここまで載せてるサイトはほぼありません でした。
ぜひ、1か月かかっても、半年かかっても、1年かかっても、
練習してみてくださいね。絶対にブレイクスルーするので。

僕はずっとこのノートが大切な英語のトモダチで、いわゆる独り言英会話で練習しました。
なので今でもふつうのオンライン英会話などやったことありませんが、運良くIELTS Speaking 8.5が取れました。
ちなみに、このIELTSスピーキングのトピックリスト&ネタ帳はノートにすると1冊くらいなのですが、
他にもノートは 日常編 と時事問題スピーチ編
もあり、
日常編のネタ帳はノート 2冊 くらいですが、時事編は 7冊 くらいあリ、
つまり、IELTSまでに例文やチャンクでノート10冊分くらいは例文暗唱しています。
あ、単語・熟語は別でノート作ってたので、単語帳ノートはカウントしてなく別です。
また、IELTSに特化した対策は1ヶ月でしたが、
時事スピーチの練習にかけた時間と労力はその比ではありません。
時事スピーチ練習は数年に渡っているので、思い出しただけでも青春で思い出が溢れてくるレベルです
。
長くなりましたが、僕がやってのは以上のようなシンプルなことです。
繰り返しますが、これが絶対にいいとか、ベストなトレーニングだとか言っているのでは全然なく、
これが誰かの役に少しでも立てればという気持ちで、一生懸命書きましたので、参考になればうれしいです。
IELTS で Writing と Speaking がスコアが出ず苦労してる人をたくさん知っています。そのハードルをクリアすれば一気に世界が広がると思います。
